Sandy Feet Sand Castle Services: Galveston is the premiere option for all of your local sand sculpting needs, from sandcastle lessons, to custom sand sculptures, and team building exercises. Headed by 9 year veteran of the original Sandy Feet Sandcastle Services, join us for a truly unique experience and have more fun on the beach forever.
Sandcastle Experiences
BASIC SAND CASTLE LESSON
The best option for most
Learn the fundamentals of sand sculpture and have a cool castle to show off in 2 hours. All equipment provided. Time and location of your choosing. For groups of up to 10. $220 for a 2 hour lesson. 1 hour lessons ($120) are available for small groups along the seawall.
INTERMEDIATE / LARGE SCALE PROJECT
Done this before? Or just really want to make something big?
Intermediate and advanced sand castle lessons are available for those who have had a lesson before or those that want to make something at a larger scale. I provide most of the equipment, but it's recommended that you have your own carving tools, since the project we start may not be completable in 2 hours. This lesson is not for the faint of heart! We will be moving a lot of sand so do your stretches and consider caffeinating ;) Starts at $220 for a 2 hour lesson, 2 hour minimum.
LARGE GROUP LESSON
More than 10 people?
How we approach lessons with larger groups can be catered to the size and desires of your group. Please just get in touch for more information :) All equipment provided. Time and location of your choosing. $220 for a 2 hour lesson + $10 per person beyond 10. 2 hour minimum (example: 2 hours with 14 people = $260)
CUSTOM SCULPTURE
Just want me to make it?
Sand sculptures are a great way to draw attention to an event, add some joy to a party, or even propose to your significant other. I can make a sculpture to fit your needs. Time and location of your choosing. I am able to travel to the greater Houston area and beyond for large scale projects. $100/hr 3 hour minimum, or get in touch for a quote. Please see my portfolio for examples of past projects.
Please note: You will be charged an additional $50 for activities on the Bolivar Peninsula, in Freeport, or in Surfside.

Emerson
As the owner, operator, and primary mistake-maker of the Galveston Branch of SFSCS, Emerson has been giving sandcastle lessons and sculpting sand professionally for over 13 years. He has competed at the master's level both at home and abroad, and taken home medals in several master's sand sculpting competitions. With over a decade of teaching experience, there's nothing he enjoys more than sharing the joys of sand sculpture with new people.
Megan
Megan is an elementary educator, specializing in early childhood & special populations. Working in Texas public schools as a teacher and teaching mentor for more than 10 years, she strives to build inclusive, gentle environments for all learners. Megan first encountered sand sculpture at one of Emerson's classes in Galveston, where she quickly displayed an affinity for the temporary art form. Her years of experience in teaching and in creative fields make her an ideal sandcastle instructor. In her available time you will find her adventuring with her 4 children or working on a new project!
